Allan Gorman's paintings and drawings take viewers on a journey into the intriguing shapes, designs, and moods created by the light and shadow cast on architectural and industrial structures.

His artwork has been featured in over 120 solo, museum and gallery exhibits.  Four of his paintings are currently included in: “LUSTER: Realism and Hyperrealism in Vehicle Art” traveling to fifteen US art museums through the Fall of 2022.  His work is included in Galeria ArteLibre's “20 Years in 20 x 20 Exhibition” on view at museums in Spain and Italy through 2022. A number of pieces were recently acquired for the permanent collection of the Savoy Automobile Museum, and a painting has been acquired for inclusion in the Coupolouzos Family Museum in Athens, Greece.  

Gorman’s work has been shown at several important art fairs, including Art/LA, The Palm Beach Art Fair, Art Greenwich, The Other Art Fair (Brooklyn), and Art Fair 14C in Jersey City, NJ. 

In 2013, and again in 2022, Allan Gorman was awarded a Fellowship for Painting from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.  In 2011, he was awarded a resident fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center and was invited back again in 2014 and 2018. In 2016, he was selected for a fellowship residency by the ESKFF Foundation at Mana Contemporary. His work has won awards as "Architectural Artist of the Year" by ADC's Art Comes Alive!, First Place in J.Mane Gallery's Cityscapes Competition (2021), the "John Collins Award for Oil Painting" and the "Salmagundi Award" from the American Artist's Professional League, the "Pioneer of Realism" award from the International Guild of Realism, and he was selected as one of the 100 Grandmasters of Realist Art, sponsored by the Salon Des Beaux Arts.
His artwork has been featured for six consecutive years in Arte Libre's Art Y Libertad; four times in Manifest's International Arts Annual; American Art Collector (several issues); Poets/Artists Magazine; Steadfast Arte Magazine; The Huffingtion Post; CreativeTime4Talk;; ArtHabens review; The Huts Magazine; and dozens of other print and electronic publications.

His art is included in numerous corporate and private collections.
